PoolStop keeps your work on your phone. There is no account and no advertising. Your pools and visit logs stay on your device — we never receive them and cannot see them. The app also sends anonymous usage counts — which screens are used and how often, once a day — to our own server, so we can see what gets in the way and fix it. No identifiers, no third parties, and you can switch it off in Settings → Privacy.
Everything PoolStop creates is written to on-device storage on your iPhone: pools, visits, readings, doses, notes and optional JSON backups you export. None of it is transmitted to us.
PoolStop Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details, and we do not receive your name, email or Apple Account information.
If you share a service note image or export a JSON backup, iOS hands the content to whichever app or service you choose. We are not involved in the transfer and receive no copy.
PoolStop does not use tracking SDKs or advertising identifiers. Local preferences use on-device storage only.
The app sends a small daily batch of counters to a server we run ourselves: how often a screen was opened, whether the core job was done, and whether the subscription screen was reached — grouped only by how long ago the app was installed. There are no identifiers of any kind (no account, no advertising ID, no device ID), no job content, and no third-party analytics service. We use it only to see which parts of the app get in the way. Turn it off any time in Settings → Privacy; nothing is sent while it is off.
PoolStop is not directed at children under 13. It is a business tool for adults who service swimming pools.
