PostClear — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

PostClear collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Post names, checkpoints, tour times, exception notes and recaps stay on your device. We never receive them and cannot see them.

What the app stores, and where

Everything PostClear creates is written to on-device storage on your iPhone: posts, checkpoint lists, tour timestamps, exception notes, recap images you generate, and optional JSON backups you export. None of it is transmitted to us.

Location, camera and face data

PostClear does not request location, camera or contacts. It does not run face detection or any on-device Vision pipeline. Tour times are the device clock, not GPS. There is no NFC or QR scan in this version.

Third-party and AI services

PostClear does not call any network API, analytics SDK or third-party AI service. There is no upload path. Purchases are the only Apple-mediated traffic, handled by StoreKit on the device.

Purchases

PostClear Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details, and we do not receive your name, email or Apple Account information.

Share and export

If you share a recap image or export a JSON backup, iOS hands the content to whichever app or service you choose. We are not involved in the transfer and receive no copy.

Device identifiers

PostClear does not use tracking SDKs, advertising identifiers or analytics. Local preferences use on-device storage only.

Children

PostClear is not directed at children under 13. It is a business tool for adults who walk posts or patrols.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
