This policy applies to all of our iOS apps, including HEIC to JPG Converter and Blur Faces & License Plates, and any future apps we publish under the same developer account.
Exception — Wren: our PCOS tracker Wren offers a subscription handled entirely by Apple. Wren has its own policy: Wren privacy policy. Health data logged in Wren still never leaves your device.
Health data — Health Export: the Health Export app (store name Health Data CSV & GPX) can read Apple Health samples and workout routes on this device, with your permission, only to write a spreadsheet (CSV) or GPS track (GPX) that stays on your iPhone until you choose to share it. Health access is read-only. The app does not write to Apple Health, does not upload health data, does not use it for advertising, does not share it with any third party, and does not write it to iCloud. You can revoke access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Short version: our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything happens on your device.
Nothing. Our apps have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no servers. We never see your photos, files, or any information about you.
Anything you open in our apps is read and processed entirely on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's on-device frameworks. Nothing you import is ever uploaded anywhere. Results are written to a temporary location on your device and are only shared when you explicitly choose to save or share them.
Some of our apps use Apple's built-in Vision framework on the device to find a face in a photo or video. This is never used to identify a person. We do not collect, store, transmit, share, or sell face data or any biometric information. Face positions are held in memory only while the app is working on that photo or video, and are discarded when processing finishes or you leave the screen. Nothing about a face is written to a file (other than a result you choose to save, described below), saved after you close the app, or sent off the device. No face recognition, identification, or matching is performed.
Blur Faces & License Plates and BlurClip – Blur Video look at an image only to locate the rectangular position of any faces so they can place a blur over them.
PDExact: PD Measure uses Vision only to estimate pupil centres and the nose bridge in a photo the user took of themselves holding a card, so the app can pre-place markers the user then adjusts by hand. The measurement (distances in millimetres) is computed on the device from those marker positions and a known card size. If the user exports a PDF, that PDF contains millimetre numbers only — not a face image, not face geometry, and not a biometric template. The photo stays on the device unless the user explicitly saves or shares it. Face landmark positions are not retained after the user leaves the measurement screen.
Verticly: Vertical Video looks at sampled frames of the video you choose to find the rectangular position of people and faces in each frame, only to decide where to aim the vertical (or square) crop as the video plays. Each frame’s face and person rectangles are reduced to a single crop position and discarded immediately. No face image, face geometry, landmark, or biometric template is created or kept. The only output is the reframed video, which stays on your device until you choose to save or share it.
PasSnap – Headshot Size looks at the photo you choose to find the rectangular position of the largest face, only to scale and centre the head to the photo size rules you selected, and separates the person from the background on the device to make a plain background. The face rectangle is not saved. The only output is the resized photo, which stays on your device until you choose to save or share it.
Face data is never retained by us, never shared with any third party, and never used for advertising, analytics, or identification.
Our apps do not use, contain, or send any data to third parties or third-party AI services. There are no servers, no cloud processing, and no artificial-intelligence services involved. All processing, including face detection, runs locally on your device using Apple's frameworks. No user data ever leaves your device.
An app may ask permission to add a result to your photo library only when you choose to save it. You select individual items to work on through Apple's system picker; the apps do not request access to your full library.
One-time unlocks are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Our apps collect no data from anyone, including children.
