These terms are an agreement between you and us covering Wren, a PCOS tracking app for iOS. Wren has its own terms because it offers a subscription. By downloading or using Wren, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Wren is not medical advice and is not a contraceptive. It is a tracking and education tool. It does not diagnose any condition, does not interpret your lab results, and does not recommend or adjust any supplement, medication or dose. It must not be used to prevent or achieve pregnancy. Always speak to a qualified clinician about symptoms, results and treatment. If you are worried about a symptom, or a period is unusually late, painful or heavy, contact a healthcare professional.
Wren's cycle predictions are estimates calculated from the dates you enter, and are shown as a range with a stated confidence precisely because they are uncertain. Cycles affected by PCOS are often irregular by nature, which makes prediction less reliable, not more. Reference ranges shown next to lab markers are typical adult ranges for context only — real ranges vary by laboratory, assay, age and cycle timing. Do not make a medical decision on the basis of anything Wren shows you without talking to your clinician.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Wren cannot verify it.
Your health log is stored only on your device. See the Wren privacy policy for exactly what is stored and what is not.
Wren is free to download and includes free functionality. Wren Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered on a monthly or yearly basis.
What you log is stored on your device. You can export it or permanently delete it at any time from Settings. Because we do not hold a copy, we cannot recover your data for you if you delete it or lose your device — keep your own export if it matters to you.
Use Wren for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the app, and do not use it in any unlawful way.
These terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Wren and its content.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Wren on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Wren. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
Wren is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. In the event of any failure of Wren to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Wren.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Wren, including product liability claims, any claim that Wren fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or privacy legislation.
In the event of a third-party claim that Wren infringes intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim. Wren and its content remain our property.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using Wren.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on information shown in Wren. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may stop using Wren at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature, and will give reasonable notice in the app where a change materially affects a paid subscription.
These terms may be updated; the current version is always posted on this page, with the date above. Significant changes affecting a paid subscription will be surfaced in the app.
